Energy Efficiency Advice
From 1st October 2008 privately rented property in England and Wales, as a new tenancy begins, will be required to have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).
The Government is aiming to make all properties more energy efficient. This Certificate will tell you (and the tenant) exactly how energy efficient your property is and you will be given a list of things you can do to make your property more energy efficient. (Privately rented houses with shared facilities do not need and EPC)
